As the seasons change, things are changing in the Santa Monica gallery as well. This fall, we have included new work by artists Ann Thornycroft, Lun Tse, Nasha Shoro and Paul Taylor.
English-born, California-based Ann Thornycroft’s Cactus Tree absolutely gives you that fall feeling. This season we are looking for warm colors and geometric shapes that are easy on the eyes and inspire cozy feelings, so this piece is the perfect addition to our gallery. We think this piece would bring wonderful warmth and pop of color to a neutral living room or office.
Lun Tse is an artist known for floral and abstract paintings. His piece that we recently installed in our gallery brings us one final floral flourish as we approach a season less known for blooming botanicals. His work is something we can see in a reception area of a high-end spa.

Natasha Shoro is local artist whose work we’re excited to showcase this month, both in our gallery and on our blog. Natasha works with abstract mixed media and mixed media collage paintings to site specific installations which address topics from her life experiences of being a woman with multi-cultural influences. She finds inspiration from her travels and is inspired by the aerial cartographies in nature. Her work pairs wonderfully with a black and white piece by Paul Taylor, both beautiful abstract pieces that put brushwork on full display. These pieces would look amazing in a variety of rooms, but we can imagine both making a statement in a mezzanine or loft.
