We are pleased to announce Kevin Barry Fine Art as a 15th Annual HD Awards winner in the category Custom Art + Installations for their work on “Lobby Figurines” at The Rose Hotel in Chicago, IL. Principals Allison Barry and Jason Fiore were in attendance last night at Cipriani in NYC to accept the award.

“It was a pleasure working with the Gettys Group to bring this project to life. It’s an honor to be recognized for something that was as fun to create as it was impactful for The Rose Hotel.”

Contrasting beautifully with its stunning custom mural backdrop, the “Lobby Figurines” are a true showstopper. Though the figurines themselves have a more androgynous and contemporary vibe, Kevin Barry Fine Art worked with the Gettys Group to create the fashion-forward pieces as an homage to the Rose Hotel’s location near Chicago’s historic fashion district. This Instagrammable moment has become a destination for guests and locals alike, inspiring some of the area’s most unique selfies.

“In an age of Instagrammable art, you’ve got to think creatively to stand out. With this project, KBFA and The Gettys Group were looking to make a bold statement that not only created a fun picture for guests, but solidify The Rose Hotel as a destination via Instagram.”
